That goes to the grochery store in need or 1 thing and come back with tons of stuff, but not what I originally needed?

thy say don't go grocery shopping when your hungry because you'll buy a lot of stuff you don't need.

Yea. I usually go to buy something I need and end up with all the other stuff that's on sale. I am getting better control of it though. My plan is go directly to that item without looking at anything else, grab the item, pay the money, and leave.

yesss and thats how stores get ya...especially Walmart..they advertise these unbelievable sales..and have only a limited supply..which is usually sold a few hours into the sale..and they know when u go into the store..even if that one item isnt there they are going to entice u to buy other things u see...oh and they uaually purposely put the beverages in the back..so u walk past snacks and such..which persuades u to buy buy buy...

Yeah, all the time. I just need one thing and pick up 10 items, get home and remember that I forgot the milk. Then I get to go back. Happens more often than you think. I also forget to take my list with me. I remember to make the list, I just forget to take it with me. And if I take it with me, I forget to look at it. I think that we lose control of our brains when we are grocery shopping. We just want to get it over with quickly.

And then I find that the essentials are missing because I got too loaded up with stuff I didn't need

yes, I did that once, but I also got the thing I wanted. Though i came out with a lot of stuff.

I do that all the freaking time and it pisses me off. We walk to the store so then we have to walk back and it is kind of a pain.

nooo.. i do that whenever i walk into any kind of store.. its kind of sad to go shopping with me, because if i only need like, 2 pairs of shorts or something, i'll come back with a whole new wardrobe.

YOU ARE NOT ALONE...and my wife let's me know about it too...sheesh one little mistake over and over and over again for 38 years...you'd think she know I'm going to forget the milk by now...and ask me to get something else so I'd be sure to get the milk and forget the other thing...
