I captured a Pine Sawyer in a shallow ice cream container, and it is wiggling around upside down. The insect's abdomen is covered in mud, which is a little unusual because this type of insect eats at- and destroys the bark of trees. The capture was accidental. Halogen porch lights attracted him. If lucky, he will survive through the night and wiggle tomorrow but otherwise, a big fat Bufus Bufus (american toad) is camped out in the garden, just waiting for dusk, and he's usually famished.
