Are you young? Especially in women under 20, but anytime really, a period can run long or short and/or light or heavy. In younger women your body is still finding it's rhythm, and high stress, illness, or change in activity levels can alter your period any time...
Don't sweat it unless it comes along with unusual colors, smells or pains, in which case call your clinic and they will question you further to see if you need to come in...

If you have not had it long then you will be very irregular for the first year or so. Also not everyone has 28 day cycles. Some women have 24 day cycles and some 30-34 or more. If you have had your period for over a year then you should just watch things and if it happens again go see your doc.

It would help if you mentioned your age. Cycles can be really weird at times and can be shorter than 28 days....but generally not that short. If you are young and haven't had your period for long your body is just adjusting. If you are on the pill or have been on the pill .... again, your body is adjusting. If you are in your 30s you could be pre-menopausal although this usually happens to older women.
The best thing is to keep an eye on it for a few months and if nothing changes, see your doctor.

there is nothing wrong with you at all. a womans period is APPROXIMATELY 28 days apart. you can usually tell about when it will start but as far as hitting it directly on the head, good luck. a womans period will also change after long periods ( weeks, months) of being in contact with other women. it is an unknown phenomenon but it happens...dont believe me? go live in a girls dorm and you will have your period around the same time every girl on your floor does

Perhaps not - but if it continues, go to a doc immediately! Mine were weird for the first 4 years or so. Major stress can cause them to occur more frequently too (Found THAT out when I was married!!)
Your age can be a factor too!
(I'm not a doctor and I don't even play one on TV!)
Good luck and take care of yourself!!

No there's nothing wrong I was like that also.
are you on the pill if so get of it coz it ***** up your cycle.
Try the implanon implant its FAB you can have as much sex has you want and you dont need to think about getting up the dove. It last for three years. But for the first 1month use condoms still.
