No. None of my ex boyfriends, or girlfriends tried to do that. I wouldn't have stayed with anyone for long if they had. I have the only say in my life and behavior (Except when I'm at work)

Any man in my life will not tell me what to do with my own hair. However, if there are certain styles he likes on my better than others, I would be willing to listen to suggestions, and perhaps might even apply such suggestions. Most men I've been with haven't cared about such things. They want to be with me, not my hair.

No - We are both in charge of our own hair. Besides, I think the only way he would actually notice is if I shaved my head. Luckily, he prefers to be clean shaven, because I do not like facial hair. Nicer when you agree on things, so it does not become an issue.

The husband shouldn't have to. A wife should be able to know something like that without bothering her husband by asking.

No. Last time I checked I had full ownership over my own scalp.
Now, I will ask my hubby if he think such and such a hair style would look nice or not, but in the end the choice is mine.

He looks at me and tells me what he thinks would be "Hot". He likes gold streaks and a sharp cut. Not too long.
When I get it done he's a very happy man.
