I've worked for a particular company for ten years. About a year ago the owner's teenage son started working there. I found out this past week that he earns exactly twice what I make.

I provide my own office supplies because the company is strict about those purchases. The boss' son has been caught twice pilfering from our supply cupboard. His excuse was that his parents said he could. His supervisor fired him but he was reinstated in his position the following day. His supervisor then quit. All these things, I just put down to "that's part of being the boss' son".

Shortly after I found out this week, though, that he earns double my salary, I heard that he will be getting a pay raise. That kind of feels like the straw that broke the camel's back. I'm in my forties. I've worked for my position. I can accept the teen earning twice what I do, simply because he is who he is. But more than that just makes me sick to my stomach. I don't want another job. I like mine. What can I do?

You've got to go talk to Daddy.

First, assemble a brief of specific times you've come through for the company, the specific projects you've managed, and why you're so valuable to the company.

Then do some research on what people of your degree of education and experience make in other similar positions in other corporations.

Then go talk to Daddy. Point out that you are a loyal employee, and you believe you deserve a higher standard of living. Show him your research, and try to leave Son out of the picture. But if you have to drag him in, point out that you do twice or three times the work, for less than half the pay. Are you supposed to be loyal to a company where such imparity exists? (You almost have grounds for a lawsuit).

Good luck. It may be that yu just have to ignore the Son and work for what you are paid. If this isn't good enough, start handing out resumes. Who knows? The grass may be greener on the other side of the hill.

confident and no. i think of this question merits 2 solutions. confident, because of fact after a team has lost for different seasons it turns right into a ordinary. as an occasion, the Lions are a significant case. The Lions have been poor for years and it would not look like it is going to alter each time quickly. this way of great style of followers do no longer see something new popping out of the Lions. the reason they shrug it off is via the fact they are certainly numb to it. What else are you able to anticipate whilst your team has lost this way of great style of years? communities lose and additionally you get used to it, because of fact its all you recognize. I say no because of fact there are a number of followers who follow their communities in the process the thick and skinny. lower back the Lions followers are a significant occasion of this. Their franchise has been terrible for years, yet they follow them. they are between the main committed fan bases I even have seen so some distance interior the NFL. Its extremely basic to stroll away out of your team, yet once you reside in spite of the checklist, you're a fan that's to be well-known. so as that they choose to be unswerving to their team. It is going the two procedures right here.

Sounds like you can't do anything, It's obvious that if you say anything to the boss you will suffer some type of recourse, if he will override his supervisor and then allow the supervisor to quit then you have no power to do anything. You can either suck it up and deal with it or move on.

Good Luck I feel for you.

Go OT or NT. Let it go. It does not make you less of a man. Scores shall be settled soon enough & justice shall be dispensed not by you but by a higher order.
