log(x+2) = log(x) + 2
Subtract log(x) from both sides
log(x+2) - log(x) = 2

Using Subtraction/Division rule
log((x+2)/x) = 2

Log definition
10^2 = (x+2) / x
100 = (x+2) / x

Multiply both sides by x:
100x = x+2

Subtract x from both sides :
99x = 2

Divide both sides by 99:
x = 2/99
so the answer is C

hope i helped you..

Log(x+2)=logx+2 then Log(x+2)=logx+log100=log100x
then x+2 =100 x ,then x=2/99

log (x + 2) - log x = 2
log [(x + 2) / x ] = 2
(x + 2) / x = 10 ²
(x + 2) / x = 100
x + 2 = 100 x
2 = 99 x
x = 2 / 99
ANSWER c.

Log(x + 2) - Log(x) = 2

Log((x+2) / x) = 2

10^2 = (x + 2)/x

100x = x + 2

99x = 2

x = 2/99

C is the answer.

log(x+2) = log(x) + 2

Subtract log(x) from both sides:
log(x+2) - log(x) = 2

Subtraction/Division rule for logs:
log((x+2)/x) = 2

Definition of log:
10^2 = (x+2) / x
100 = (x+2) / x

Multiply both sides by x:
100x = x+2

Subtract both sides by x:
99x = 2

Divide both sides by 99:
x = 2/99

log(x + 2) = log(x) + 2

subtract log x for both sides
log(x + 2) - log(x) = 2

quotient rule: log(a) - log(b) = log (a/b)
log{ (x + 2)/x } = 2

change to exponent rule
10^2 = (x+2)/x

100 = (x + 2)/x

100x = x + 2

99x = 2

x = 2/99

C
