ok, this happened when i was 14, (i am 20 now) One night, i was with my brother (he was only 16) and his 2 older friends, well we were pulled over by a state trooper, and they ended up towing the car, this was around midnight, we were 1 mile away from the next town. The trooper did call my brother and i's parents, or even offer to call for a ride..the nearest phone to us was inside a strip club near the are we got stopped. Well the trooper left us out there to walk, a 14,16 and two 18 year olds...at MIDNIGHT. none of us were old enough to go inside the strip club, when one of the 18 yr olds tried, she was denied..So we had to walk to the nearest town, 1 mile away at midnight. When my dad found out about this, he went to the Stae Police office and complained, thinking this was a racial siutation, as we are brown. OSP would not look into it...so my question is, do you think it was right for the trooper to do that? should they have looked into it after our complaint?

they towed the car because she was not able to show proof of insurance, although it was insured, and the tow truck driver refused to give us a ride, he said he was not allowed to. we were not committing any crimes, just on our way back home.

i live in oregon, im not leaving any important facts out, this is really what happened. i think its very wrong for a STATE TROOPER to just leave us out there, it was dark on the highway, and midnight. what if somethin had happened to us? hit by a truck? somethin!?
