there are 2 terms, pq(p - 7) and (p - 7). factor out the (p - 7), leaving pq in the 1st term and 1 (always a factor) in the second. so

pq(p - 7) + (p - 7) = (pq + 1)(p - 7)

which is the 3rd answer.
