Terrorists are not a foreign govt. So generally helping people with humanitarian aid, when some other bad people hate us, is not treason by that definition. It's criminal -- since there are statutory laws against it -- but it's not constitutional treason.

If, however, you gave food and water to a group of terrorists during the process of an attack, that would be constitutional treason, because at that time, those were enemies.

The constitution does not recognize individual groups of 5 or 50 people as the same kind of threat as a nation of 50 million. So the constitutional provisions were intended (as any conservative strict constuctionalist or originalist can tell you) to apply only to giving aid to COUNTRIES that were declared enemies. Not to individuals or small private groups.

But under a reasonable interpretation, any group actively in the process of attacking the US would count as an enemy. A group that just might attack later would not.

I for one don't understand how the laws work in this country , because, if you are a rich manufacture or political group then you can do pretty much as you please and it is not illegal, for example about 60 %of the weaponry we confiscated in Korea, and Nam was supplied by the Rockefeller foundation, it has been said ,had we declared war against North Korea our gov, would have had to try the Rockefeller's for treason, maybe that is why we didn't declare war on them?

Well, there are 300 million Americans who witness amBush aiding and abetting the illegal criminal aliens who are basically terrorizing major cities in the USA for some time. Being invaded by foreigners IS war ... I say we fight to have amBush brought up on treason charges right after his impeachment!

No, helping the poor people of the country is NECCESARILY helping the actual terrorists. The government may be at war, but if you will accept aid from the opposing country, I'd say it's a fairly safe bet to say those aren't the terrorists. Maybe.
