Black men are like the "forbidden fruit" to alot of white women. Possibly because of being taught at a young age that it is wrong and against family tradition or religion. Which makes the Black man more desirable...White men DO find black women attractive and same goes for them however I feel White men like to be more discreet and do not flaunt like the white woman does with her Black man...

Not true, not true, and not true! I find women of color to be more to my liking than the vanilla I was raised around! Being from NH, I "saw" a black woman, as a teenager (at this hippy-neighbors' bonfire party!) I was hooked since then! She had this huge 70's Afro, and smooth black skin, with a voice that only could have come from an angel!
Today, not only do I prefer women of color (darker the better, honestly), but have dated amost exclusively out of my race (that being White Anglo-Saxon... a bloody Scot!; family comes from the highlands of the Isle of Lewis!).
I like the phrase "opposites attract" and I feel that's the case with me. When I get looks on the street, I not only don't mind, I laugh to myself, becuase while some may be actually saying, "wow, she's pretty", others may be pissed off... and I never was bothered by pissing others off.
I now live in Puerto Rico, and it's not so much a big deal here; as many of you may (or may not) know, Puerto Ricans come in as many flavors as Americans on the mainland do! Between the French, Spanish, English & Portuguese who fought over control for more than 200years (before the Spanish won... temporarily, then taken by the US in the Span-Amer war), to the slaves from africa... & the natives who were almost wiped out to extinction, and many mixed in between. Puerto Rico is rich with diversity, and I love living here!

i think this is a good question, some times black dudes will sleep with the most disgusting white girls on the planet, but somtimes they get the hot ones, i suppose that it is just more accepting, i think men are more into what people think then women, they dont really give a ****, look where our country was 60 years ago, there is alot of pain and ignorant ness still going on, i find black women very attractive but because my folks wouoln't like it, and yeah i dont think black women like white dudes too much, then its a no go for me as well.

Many a lot of white men are feeling guilt because of past history? Who knows? I have met a black gal or two that I found very attractive... to tell the truth, I find the pale white women disgusting!

NOT TRUE... there are plenty of white men who find black women attractive. Maybe you dont see them as often in your area, but I see plenty of black fem and white male couples in my area. Heck my aunt is married to a white guy, so is a friend of mine. Two other friends of mine have white boyfriends. I broke up with my boyfriend who is white, about 2weeks ago. Im not looking for a boyfriend, but Im going out on dates WITH WHITE MEN WHO ASK ME OUT.

If that was true, then we AA wouldn't vary so much when it comes to skin color. They might have been racist, but white men did have children with black women. And still do.

Its because of a subconcious guilt complex. Further study of this should be done by some anthropologists.
Also these women are losing their morality and self worth by the generation and it results in this symptom of the attraction to the lowest common denominator. In other words, they have lowered their standards.

actually white men do find us to be very attractive, that's why 95 % of black people have white in them from back in slavery ( but they had to rape us most of the time to get the coochie) because normally black women aren't that interested in white men, so it's not that white men won't have us, we just won't have them.

Actually they do. I've been approached by plenty of white men.
And, I don't think its an issue of them not finding black women attractive. I think its the fact that its kinda taboo and they may not openly say it.
