It would show up as positive, here's why--
"Reasoning-- OPK's detect LH (luteinizing hormone) which is the hormone associated with ovulation. Pregnancy tests detect hCG, the hormone associated with pregnancy. LH and hCG are, at a molecular level, nearly identical. hCG has a beta subunit, meaning it has an extra little "doodad." To use a stupid but easy to understand example, LH and hCG are identical twins, except that hCG wears a funny hat."-- http://www.peeonastick.com/opkhpt.html

Yes, it is funny that they don't put that in the directions or something, because it is a little known fact. If you are pregnant, you have the hCG hormone in your body, which makes a pregnancy test positive, and also an ovulation test because the hormone mimics LH which is what OPK is looking for. HOWEVER, they are not the same, in that hCG has a little bit more to it. If you are ovulating (hence, not pregnant), your ovulation test would turn positive, but a pregnancy test would not turn up positive. The hormones are similar but not the same.
In summary, a pregnancy test will turn positive only in the presence of hCG, whereas an OPK will turn positive in the presence of hCG or LH. But don't use an OPK as a pregnancy test, hehe. =)

It wouls show up as yes and thats cause the two hormones are almost the same. Have you tryed taking a pregnany test? I would do that. then go from there
I had taken a ovulation test last month and it surged on the 17th then again a week and a half later I got a surge for a week, so it can mean nothing but everyones different. I hope this helps
