Im kinda getting sick of verizon, they gave me a new phone to replace my broken one only to say right AFTER i paid for it that the speaker was blown and i would have to deal with it and try to get a new one because that was the only kind of mine that was in stock. and whats up with them and lo tech phones i mean mines pretty nice but they come out with new phones like once a year ... nothing comprared to cingular

I don't believe for one minute that a corporate store would say something like that to you. Customers like you make it difficult for the vzw reps to help folks that honestly need help. They spend so much time with bogus claims and the more they try the more people like you say things like this.
All companies come out with new phones on a continuing basis. If you want a new phone every couple of months pay full price and make every ones day a little brighter. Oh, and good luck with cingular.

Bummer with the way you were treated by a tech. Why did you have to pay for your replacement if you were under warranty? If you were under manufacturer's warranty with no liquid damage or physical abuse, you should not have had to pay.
I would either contact another corporate location near you, or call customer service to have them ship you a replacement. It usually takes no more than 2 days to receive it FedEx at no cost to you.
Verizon does not manufacture the phones, they simply sell them. Cingular tends to launch phones before all of the kinks are worked out, which is why it seems like VZW is behind the times.
Verizon has launched quite a few phones this year already, but have you ever heard "You get what you pay for?" It's very true.
If you're eligible to upgrade, go for an LG, perhaps the LG EnV, it's a very reliable phone.

Actually we have within this year came out with the Samsung u740, 340, 540, The LG 8550, moto 385 and many others. You can always go to another corperate store and see if they have it in stock or do a call in claim and they will over night you the same type of phone you currently have.

You should just invest in a very nice phone.. but the ones you see advertised are usally not the best. You should look around on line and get an unlocked phone that has tons of stuff on it.
