No animal can match human brain which has the ability to think of past and future. Human mind can philosophise. Even with the body of a monkey a man can achieve a lot.

Monkey with a human brain.
The body of a monkey is capable of many of the things that a human body is capable of but the monkeys brain restricts what it can do. I mean, if I had a monkeys body and a human brain I could still type this, learn things, make complicated things, watch movies, hold a job etc.
The other way around would be very restrictive and a human with a monkey brain is probably worse off than a monkey with a monkeys brain.
Now, the real question is who/which species would you mate with...?

Oh I'd much rather be a monkey with a human brain. That way I might get to become the US president!
Or is that human with a monkey brain? Yes, definately the latter...

think of the wear you ought to do to human beings in case you have been a monkey with a human innovations! would be tremendously humorous. Confuse the hell out of them and make em think of they are loopy. I have already got a monkey innovations, so for a transformation i'd choose for the 1st.
