People i'm not saying that the ceo's of oil companies aren't evil or bad they have let greed take over which i don't agree thats right but it doesn't mean to boycott a company because of one person or tax the shinanigans out of the company which in return we pay it all in the end that doesn't make sense.

Your post has shown me that you consider anyone who doesn't share your world view to be a liberal, that you have a martyr complex, and that you're not big on punctuation. That's all it's shown me. Next question?

Yes - both sides have hate mongers. I should be a conservative. I'm a mortgage broker and realtor - earning over 900K a year (not bragging - making a point). I pay a TON in taxes - and I believe I should pay more. I get way too many breaks. And guess what - I can afford to pay more. I don't even take 1/2 of the write off's I'm allowed and I should pay MORE. Why? Because I was born with the talents I have. I was born in this great country. I work hard - but the little guy who just needs a break works hard too. My 2k in tax break helps the little guy MUCH more than it helps me. Yes - capitalism is a great thing. It's allowed me to live a great life.

BUT - this administration is wrong and evil. From the top down it is scandal and taking liberties and hiding the truth. The reason you feel hate is that you align yourself with a group that DESERVES hate. You are probably a very nice guy. I know conservatives that are good people (although by algning yourself with the religious right you are algning yourself with stupidity and ignorance and dangerous intolerance). My suggestion - CHANGE THE REPUBLICAN PARTY . The NeoCons are destroying the good name of republicans. You don't have a presidential candidate that is viable. You're going to have to deal with Democratic leadership in the house and senate and white house for at least the next few years - but I guarantee you - look at the changes to our country and the worlds view of us when that happens. Look at it with HONEST eyes - I think you will be surprised.

Some people are pushed to their very last bit of patience.

Not every liberal is moved to angry emotion though.

Don't forget that many on the right also resort to name calling or finger pointing to the 'sins' of the liberals when they are cornered and can't use their reasoning skills.
How many times have you read posts by conservatives that reosrt to ..."Yeah but what about Clinton...!"
I have news for some of you conservatives.
Many of us on the left were really angry at Clinton when he was exposed as a perjurer and wouldn't have objected to his removal.
I personally wanted him removed for his participation of NAFTA and the selling out of our country's citizens for the Corporate advancement in globalization.
I have grown up in communities where most of the people living there based their livelyhoods and provided for their families around the manufacturing factories.
NAFTA and outsourcing displaced 1000's of people in a 50mi. radius.
If not more.
Capitalism is fine but when it benefits only a few instead of the whole it is angering to the people who do most of the work and get a pittance in comparison to the owners and stockholders.
In the town I live in we have 3 small factories (50-100) employees that have quarterly profit payouts when they are doing well and when they aren't they receive their usual pay.
They have very little overturn and very happy employees.
Here's the thing though.
1 of the 3 companies make products (lighting towers specifically) that they have a contract with the military for. These towers are being used in Iraq and Afghanistan. One of the soldiers who was from the state I live in sent a picture and a letter that was printed in our local paper.
Pretty cool!
But...what happens when the military doesn't need anymore of these towers?
This is just one example and not every company offers profit sharing to manufacturing people.
Sorry I am getting off track here a little.

Basically what it boils down to for me is that not everyone worships money. Not everyone's idea of happiness is rolled up in how much crap they have. Or having a humungous home, or $40,000 car, or spending 10's of 1000's of $$ on clothes they will wear once...maybe.

And whether anyone wants to admit it or not many religious leaders have effectively ruined religion and drove people away from the original message of what religion was really meant to be.
Not everyone believes as you do or as religious conservatives or political conservatives do.
So coming together and rational debate and giving a little by both sides is necessary to accomplish a common good for society.
Being liberal doesn't mean that everyone who is liberal is a heathen or without morality. We are tired of those on the right espousing religious beliefs and their morality and then being caught committing violations themselves against their own rules.
Like Swaggert, Baker, Foley, Vitter, Hastert, Haggart (sp) the leader of the Evangelical church. and many others on the right.
These people try to judge others and should abide by their own rules!!!!

OK I'm done now.

Thanks for your time.

P.S. It seems to me that the extremes on BOTH sides have gone mental and it will take alot of work by the folks in the middle to work together and address these serious problems facing our great country!

how are you able to tell who's fat and who isn't on line? Is that some particular secret in ordinary terms conservatives have? Its a splash unusual that there may well be any fat conservatives in any respect, in spite of everything they have each and every of the solutions and that they stay by making use of very own accountability. they honestly have an entire push aside for any technological know-how that happened after Copernicus. so they might't whinge approximately genetics, they have not got faith that. As to evil companies, they feed us all corn syrup, and that they have not any objective of struggling with.

if you listen to talk radio, you'll have a hard time finding a host who isn't peddling hate...some are more subtle (beck, for instance) than others (savage, limbaugh)...most of what i have heard from the right is "if you disagree with our opinions, you HATE AMERICA, LOVE TERRORISTS, and HATE GOD!" that is, sad to say, the essence of talk radio, which is almost entirely conservative in viewpoint...the 'liberal media' mantra, by the way, is as big a myth and a hoax today as it ever was...the overwhelming majority of those owning and controlling the mass media outlets are conservatives-if what you see on the news offends your delicate conservative sensibilities, then maybe colbert was right when he joked that facts have a liberal bias...of course, if you prefer the 'all the news that fits our slant' school of (yellow) journalism, then stick with talk radio, faux news, the washington times...

The Truth is that the extremes on both sides have slipped into insanity. While you may rightly object to Liberals shouting at Talk Radio host, or FOX news people, you then must also admit that the right decided to label John Edwards Gay for want of anything else to say about him, or continuing to talk about Bill Clinton's sex life eight years after he left office, or a myriad if other things.

The theory is to remove the sty in your own eye first. Start here speak out against the trolls on both sides. I have posted questions (all of which have been reported and then taken down) asking people to not feed the trolls on either side. Are you willing to do that?

Because the people who have well contemplated the issues, and thought out their stance on the issues, aren't attacked.
The attacks I see, always come in the form of attacking a belief that isn't one's own, but parroted from right-wing propagandists, just like your statment of the media monoply.

This is probably a phenomenon created by the fact that people who are logical enough to think about the issues, don't end up making comments that appear more like personal attacks, than anything else.
When you are parroting another person's opinion, it is blatently obvious, and it isn't an attack on you, but the propaganda you are spreading.
I do the same thing with rumors around my nieghborhood.

When you decide on the issues for yourself, rather than having extremist commentary do it for you, the views end up being more moderate, unless you are an extremist to begin with.

America is full of Hate Mongers...when they are on the radio or behind a computer screen. Somehow in person most Americans are actually people.

Yes, that is what I am saying, with the exception of a few public hate mongers..the paid ones for 'either side'....the People are just People and would probably get along with each other in most circumstances. Politics and religion seem to bring out the worst in all of us sometimes.

The word liberal or "Lib" is pretty much equal to an insult, accusation, derogatory remark, or . its a word that generalizes anyone that doesn't agree with you.
When people start their questions with lib, con or the such.. it is assumed derogatory. It weakens anything you have to say that follows, and it's assumed you're not looking for a healthy debate..just polarized name calling.

Your question falls into this category.. and you are promoting hate. Nice job.

I choose my words a lot better than whoever you are talking about.

I'm sure you "believe" you are doing the right things.

Also, it is the conservatives like Rupert Murdoch who have a monopoly on mainstream media (which includes your radio talk shows).

Did you know that Donald Rumsfeld owns the largest number of stocks in XM radio?

Also, this might be kind of shocking to you, but the United States is liberal by its very nature... if it weren't for the voice of dissent, none of us except native Americans would be here.

Can you be more SPECIFIC? Also please don't generalize.
You are making fasle statements when you do this.
No one label of any group of people is represented entirely by just one, or a few of its elements. I consider myself liberal but I don't ever listen to talk radio, or call in to the stations.
Nor do I watch television. I consider it a waste of time.
Courtesy is ALWAYS owed, no matter what - but respect has to be EARNED.
