I've been contacted by Barbizon Modeling/Acting Agency a few times.

They even had Katie Holmes and Jude Law's former manager to represent me.

I turned it down because I didn't have any headshots, or much acting experience, but now i wanna be in the Disney Channel.

I'm 17, but i look like i'm 14-15, so i thought Disney was the best way to go.

Is Barbizon a trust-worthy agency???

SCAM. Run fast in the other direction. If you're serious about this, find your own representation, because a reputable agency WILL NOT come looking for you (unless you have a sizable resume and are already famous).

BARBIZON is a SCAM: stay away!

Real Modeling Agencies will NOT contact anyone and ask them to model or act. It is a SCAM.

Barbizon is NOT trustworthy, and hon, they did NOT send Katie Holmes and Jude Law's former manager to represent, you, if they did it was so you will give them, $2,000.00 for acting and modeling classes.

Real Modeling Agencies do NOT charge the model money to learn to model! Remember that!

Never give money to Barbizon, John Robert Powers are any modeling agencies that tells you about "stars," they have NO contact with any celebrities.

I do not know if Barbizon is a trust-worthy agency. I think they got a few jobs for my Daughter when she was 17. Barbizon may not be able to get you into Disney. Send a tape to Disney!!! That way you will get feedback from the horse's (er, Mouses) mouth!!! Good luck to you and may God bless you.

My mom used to model and she knew many girls that had signed with barbizon and got no success out of it. It is a scam. Barely anyone gets out and becomes a star. John Robert Powers is a scam too. Dont fall for it.

Well known scam. And who said "Try it, what's the worst that could happen?" You can get robbed of thousands of dollars that's what could happen! And you're old enough to hear this.
You have absolutely no chance of getting on a Disney channel show. Or any other show. If you don't have training you can't do anything professionally.

I don't know anything about agencies here, but I think if they made Katie Holmes and Jude law famous, I'd say go for it.

Eh... They didn't make them famous, just had them pass through. From what I can tell, go for a different company...

Your choice though.
