Sacrifice is not thinking before helping others, compromise is trying to help others after thinking of yourself.
Don't get me wrong though, compromise is good

When the compromise leaves one party with unequal advantage. Then the other no longer has a
solution equitable to both, His part then becomes sacrifice.

when the person for whom you are making the compromise does not appreciate what you are doing and therefore seems all that you did had been pointless and to no avail. good luck.

Good question.........tryin to answer it but its harder than I thought........well a good answer anyway.
I can only come up with this example right now. If someone enlists in the war thats a sacrifice.
