It just confirmed what most people were thinking in the back of their heads. No one wants to believe it, but we all know it happens for sure now.

of course not. there are so many gamblers and corrupt people in this world that i would be shocked if something like this didnt happen. refs dont get paid that much and its obvious they can earn some extra bucks by betting on games which they can somewhat control or at least they can shave off some points. so many americans are in debt and they try to find an easy way out by gambling instead of saving up and working hard. this was inevitable and it was bound to happen sooner or later.
and brian, i know what you mean as a fellow warriors fan. we always got the short end of the stick 90% of the time. remember the washington game, the ball was still in gils hand when the lights went on, but they gave him the foul anyway and there wasnt even that much contact you can see jrich and pietrus tried to stay away from him. and then after that, they give nelly a tech for not even doing that much. even though it was donoghy who reffed that game, the warriors always got screwed as if the nba never wanted them to win.

It's not shocking considering how often u see teams get crappy calls to make sure they win the game. Dallas was a huge recipient of them in the past few years and Detroit as well.

No,I had my suspicions for a while but of course I didn't want to believe it. But now I have no choice to believe it even though it sucks to know the truth.I think I was happier when I could pretend there was nothing shady going on,at least then I had hope for my team. It all makes so much sense though.

Refs are human and can make mistakes in their officiating. But you can just watch an NBA game, especially a big game, and see how all those "mistakes" and bad calls all go in favor of one certain team!!!!!
