The idea of fate depends on how you look at it, and oin one sense it can be scientifically argued to be the only way that things work. If everything we do is a response to something else, then we are never truly in control of our actions, since it's impossible to do something absolutely random. Anything we do is determined upon a chain of events and that is how we make decisions, this is the philosophy theory known as Determinism. In this way, fate is the chain of events that leads to a particular event, and according to Determinism there is no way to escape this chain, what will happen will happen because you will always respond to an action in a particular situation in a certain way.

Who knows whether we are all brought here together for a reason? As it turned out in Esther's case, she WAS there for a reason. I believe we'll find it the same for us.

I think it was destiny as well because of the both of us being friends.
We met on P&S one day
Her name is Haroula and she helped me stay
It was fate and destiny that we should meet
How else could it be with someone so sweet.
