With a grassroots effort...meaning support your GLBT friends and family members first and foremost. Nobody understands what rights and privileges are being denied to someone, until it becomes personal.
After that, involvement in the political part of the process almost becomes second nature.

The first step for them is to stop being judgemental and end the hate towards all LGBT people, they tend to forget that it's straight couples that produce gay children!

properly i'm directly and that i oftentimes look on the LGBT section, even with the reality that I even have asked some questions approximately my orientation in this section, which i'm nevertheless thinking approximately. i think of there are some incredibly thrilling human beings in this element of Y!A with some incredibly thrilling questions. i've got not got a difficulty with gay/Bi/Transgendered human beings in any respect.

I am straight and I support the cause by speaking out whenever I can, and keeping myself educated on the current issues.

I'm straight and I come to this section ALL the time - it's best to just stay supportive and be objective and give support whether you have gay friends or not...i think lol
