Make a book bag from old jeans! It is easy:
1. Cut the legs off right under the seat of the pants (keep them).
2. Turn inside out and machine stitch the legs closed.
3. Cut along the seam of the leg long enough for an over- the- shoulder strap (about 2 inches on each side of the seam).
4. Turn leg section inside out and stitch the rough edges together.
5. Pull back through to right side and stitch to opposite sides of the jean bottom.
6. Run a cute scarf or bandanna through the belt loops and attach some iron ons or paint to match your style!
