If you mean your Cable or DSL modem, leave it on. If you turn it off it will have to initialize every time you turn it on.

I'm assuming that you mean something like a DSL or cable modem. If so, then, no, its not necessary. I leave my cable modem on 24-7.

you never turn off youre modern box because it always left it on all day and nights and it does help the Yahoo serivce keep you in safer way to keep in track with you when ever youre online or offline . . but you can turn off just youre computer pc and even youre window screen . dont turn off the modern box .
