I had been chubby for years when I lost quite a lot of weight at age 23 and yes, I did notice a big difference in the way people treated me. When I was chubby people seemed to think it was ok to be rude and disrespectful to me and I got harassed over my weight by strangers on the street. After I lost weight people stopped this. Guys started noticing me more too, which kind of bothered me because I got tired of being stared at after years of being invisible.

Yes, actually. I use to be obese but now I'm just a little overweight (still working on it!).

It's actually hard for me because I am used to being treated one way but get treated another.

If I have a conversation with a guy, he thinks I'm interested! When I walk down the street, guys will honk or shout things out of their car. I mean, not often, but it happens (I do a lot of walking). I get a lot of guys offering to give me rides home when I'm out walking.

My male friends definitely started taking more notice. It was actually overwhelming at first and has honestly made me start doubting guys as friends. People used to tell me that they didn't think a guy and a girl could be friends because sex would always come up. I didn't believe them, but then after I lost the weight, nearly every single guy I knew started showing some interest.

I don't know, people just started treating me completely differently. It's kind of intimidating.
