No. I think it is a wonderful thing for your sibling to do. Are you talking about your sister and your male partner? I think that's what you were asking...If your sibling will do it then the baby will be part of you AND your partner. How wonderful. And I don't think there will be problems between your sibling and you because you guys must be so close to be able to talk about this. Your sibling will just be a really close "aunt". By the way, I am a Christian and I STILL believe that what is in your heart is the way you should go. God loves you no matter what other people say. Homosexual people are BORN that way, they don't choose to be that way. So, all you other people who disagree, stop posting mean comments! If you have never been through it or have a family member that has gone through it then you have no idea! By the way, I'm straight and have a daughter. I think having a baby is a wonderful thing!

That's absolutely not wrong! That way you can be close and watch as the baby develops and grows, you can attend the doctor's visits and provide a loving environment from the start. That's one loving family and you should be proud!

I'll assume that since she would be a surrogate that you would be using a donor egg and either yours or your partners sperm.

No, there is nothing wrong with that. KIDS ARE GREAT! My partner and I have 3...2 from me in a former marriage 1 from him in a former marriage. they are 2, 4 and 8. I would love to have a child with my partner...but, we already have enough. :-) Good luck

As long as your partner is the other donor of genetic material I see no problem with it. It will ensure that the baby has DNA more similar to yours than if it was just a friend or something like that.

I think B. B. Wong's sister was a surrogate for him and his partner.

No, not at all. You are keeping the child in the family, that is wonderful.
