Thee sickness of putting an animal though this agony and torture is evidence that Michael Vick is not one who shold have the privelege of being an NFL player. Players like Odell Thurman, Packman Jones, and Chris Henry were suspended previously before their cases were complete. And the talk out of the committee the NFL set up earlier this year talked about playing in the NFL as a privilege and that players needed to delt with effectively so the whole league's players do not get a bad name. Just what the good players want to be seen as promoters of a vicious thing like dog fighting.

Only reason I say 4 games is that is for 1st time offenses under the new policy. I would love to see him permanently banned since to me this is an unforgiveable offense.

Suspend him from 4 games? I think he should be banned from the NFL for life.

If Goodall and Blank do not reach down into their guts and do the right thing, we at least can look forward to a lengthy jail term for this monster, because barring an OJ jury, he will serve time.

If Pacman Jones is suspended for the year, Michael Vick should be for at least the year...They both caused death...although human life is obviously more important than a dog's life, animal cruelty is bad too...If Vick is found guilty, he'll have a hard time playing QB from prison, and in effect, will be out for about 6 years, in which time he will be past his prime, and be down to 2 or 3 good years left...

Here's how to turn it around. He pleads guilty and is given no jail time but a long probation period. Both the state and Nfl hit him with hefty finds which in return will be given to several humane societies around the state of Georgia then he has to do community service and P.S.A. around the country and maybe serve a year with those darn Peta People. Any man who can survive that will learn his lesson.

He should be baned for ever or at least until proven innocent. He knew what was going on even if he wants to pretend he didn't. It is people like him who ruin the name of Pit bulls. The poor innocent dogs suffer because of evil human beings. If he is found guilty,I hope he suffers as much as the poor doggies did!

they should hang him upside down in a pin of pit bulls and let them rip his head off !!!! , but the way sports stars get away with everything these days , i bet he will just get a fine and something like community service in an animal shelter.
anyway i think he should be suspended for the entire season !!!.

I think for now he should be suspended 4 games and then see what happens in court and then decide if he should be suspended longer
