if God makes all of us why would someone else have the right to say God is against gays/lesbians? most gays/lesbians i know including myself knew at a very young age that i had lesbian thoughts and even if i became straight today my heart would still be a lesbian. God knows our hearts and having feelings is as bad as acting. so why would God make us the way we are and then reject us in the end???????

God is not going to allow you to go to Hell when you die because you love a woman. The way to avoid hell is fairly clear in the scriptures. If our lifestyle is a sin or not may be up for debate, but what is NOT up for debate is that ALLLLL have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Including the little blue haired old lady down the street, the preacher, the folks in the choir, the ushers, and everyone else who attends church and I mean EVERYONE. Only One was perfect and without sin and we learned that even He was tempted.
What is often forgotten is that there is NOT a ranking anywhere in scriptures that declares one sin is worse or better than another. If I go to hell at the time of my death, it will not be because I am gay or bi or straight. It will be because i failed to ask for and received salvation through Christ.
Incidentally, there are only like 6 or 8 references in the bible to homosexuality, while there are something like over 800 references to heterosexuality in terms of adultery, fornication, etc. Which do you think the writers of the scriptures saw as the bigger issue worthy of the most admonition??

God Doesn't Reject You Because You Are His Child Although He May Judge You And Your Decisions, He Would Never Reject You. But, It Is Not Your Decision To Be A Lesbian.....You Were Born That Way......Honestly, I Believe That Men Were Made To Be With Only Women And Vice Versa But Being Gay And Lesbian Is Not Sinful Because It Is Part Of That Person's Genetic Code. Just Like I Am Flat Chested When I'm Supposed To Have Breasts Or There Are Some Who Are Born Without Limbs When They Are Supposed To Have Arms And Legs. Am I In A Sense Calling It A Deformity? Yes, I Guess I Am. But No One Chooses To Be Born With Or Without Or To Be Born One Way Or Another....You Are What You Are.......God Would Only Judge Someone Who Made A Conscious Decision To Deviate To The Dark Side Of Life, To Murder Or Molest The Innocent, To Steal....etc. Those Are Hateful Things That God Would Never Agree With....But Love Is Love And How Could God Disagree With Love When It Is Given Unconditionally And Without Malice?.........In Short, God Does Not Reject You.....Society Does............And You Don't Have To Answer To Society, Only To God.........You Are Not Being Sinful So Long As You Are Not Hurting Or Stealing From Anyone And Are Being True To Yourself And God...........................

Personally, I am not religious in the least bit, but some Christians portray him to be this man (being or whatever) that reigns over the earth, lashing out against "evil" and throwing lightning bolts down to anyone who is against Christianity.
They then come in his name of "love" and spew hatred. So either God is a God of Love or Hate, but either way, he WOULD know what and who he has created. And if there is a GOD and he is spending his time worrying about gays and lesbians and NOT the real world problems, then he is truly warped.
Regardless, these inconsistencies keep me far away from religion.

And you are correct ... God did 'create' humanity and other animals, and if it was a 'true sin' to be a homosexual then that would be found ONLY in humans ... but the fact is that even other animals (also reptiles, fish, and birds) have EXACTLY THE SAME PERCENTAGE of homosexuality as humans (using the 1958 Kinsey Statistics on Human Sexuality) ... so when someone accuses you of 'being a sinner' tell them that you are 'just a normal human' and that if animals have the same 'condition' you have, it couldn't be a sin (because animals are sinless, not 'soul-less') and then just 'walk away' ...
Yes you could be 'behaviorally straight' but the fact is that you would still BE a 'Lesbian' ... and I thank God for that fact.

God doesn't reject you but the things that are wrong in his sight. You can't categorize sin. Sin is sin. Lying is not less the killing it is all the same...sin. We all will be judge based on those things that we did against Him. We all have free will and it is your choice to do good or not just know that if you believe in God you will answer to Him. It doesn't matter what others think it is what you believe and if you believe in God this question can be best answered by Him. The bible gives instructions for all things including homosexuality. Nothing is left out from lying to hatred it's in there.

Well, In my church(mormon) they say that homosexuality is just another temptation. Just like some people are born with the urge to steal or lie, we are born with an urge to be with the same sex. It's our trial, our test basically. If you act on these feelings then it is sinful.
I personally don't know what to think. I am attracted to other girls, and the only thing that would make me truly happy is being with another girl. Doesn't god just want us to be happy? Supposedly living by the bible and gods commandments brings happiness. Living my life pretending to be straight and never having a real relationship...how could this make me happy?

god is against noone he just does not like the sins we do. everyone has something in there life that is a sin. God can change your heart if you did not want to have these thoughts and he is always faithful and just to forgive us of our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. He does not reject us in fact he says come as you are. just take care of what you need to and god will take care of the rest. He also makes us in his own image and does not care if we are gay but wants us to love him and change our ways to serve him so we can have eternal life forever and ever.

i dont know the answer, it is in gods eyes. personally i think people who are ignorant and discriminate against gays and lesbians are totally out of line. some of the guys i hang out with are gay, but they are good people. thats my personal opinion.
ps(the bible has been altered so much nothing is clear anymore)

The child molester could use the same rationale....God made me want to look at little boys....it is not my fault....or the murderer...I cant help it that i have homicidal thoughts...god made me that way.....or the thief.... etc. etc. etc. God made us the way we are but there are certain behaviors that are expressly forbidden and homosexuality is one of them. I might want to sleep with my friends wife cause she is cute and say well god shouldn't have made her so cute...etc. The point is mute....there are do's and don'ts and that is a dont.....religiously speaking of course....

I dont think he would. That person that said that just sounds ignorant. I'm straight as anything, but i agree with you all the way.
No one but prophets and angels and people like that really know God and how he feels about things like this. I wouldn't listen to anyone but them haha.
