I believe that the companion theory has been implemented throughout the majority of the universe. This is the balance between the divine forces continue and gravity. If this is the case then we have a good chance that we will never see an end this time. The divine does not want to continue to cycle through the Big Bang. It has done this at least seven times so far. These are the days of the divine. This is still the seventh day. The day the divine rested. We are awaiting the awakening that began on 07/17/07 @ 11:11 GMT The divine should be awake by 11/11/11 @ 11:11 GMT
We shall see what happens then.

We exist within a multiverse of 11 dimensions. This is the number of the Divine.

I grew up hearing that the world is coming to an end and even had an estimated year that it will happen but it has been over 40 years have passed in my calendar life that those were the words used to instill fear in our minds thus create boundaries in our religious belief until you outgrow it. To me, my world ends when my physical body ceases to breath and do its normal operating functions, I don't know how other bodies work or how they perceive theirs will be.

Never. The world wont end, Maybe humanity will be destroyed and become extinct but I dont think the whole planet will ever be destroyed.
Change the name of Earth Day to People Day!

The date of the earth ending is of little consequence in the overall scheme of things. There's a good possibility it will outlast any of us. Knowing when the poor old planet does whatever it's going to do doesn't carry much weight in my mind.
If it happens while I'm alive there'll be a lot of others who experience death the same time I do, but I'm ambivalent about that. And if it happens after I'm dead, it ain't much value to me to know, one way or the other.

I give humanity another ten years at most, frankly. I just hope I'm at ground zero when the bombs start falling.
However, you specified when people think the WORLD will end. To clarify, the planet will continue revolving and orbiting quite nicely once we're gone.

I dont know the exact time and year...it could be now or tomorrow..or the world was over long a go...but my gues is in the 8th millenium.
