I did, but he has since moved on. I wonder, however, whether I don't have more than one soul mate, perhaps in different ways. I have been privileged to be very close to some very fine people in my life, and have a few really good friends right now.

I have found more than one soul mate. I do not believe that they have to be a lover...merely an extension of who you are...someone that gets you as much as you get them....someone who can complete your thoughts and actions with words and deeds that could have come straight from you. I found one of my soul mates right here at Yahoo. She is the best friend I have never seen.

I really don't know...
Every time I am really happy and think "wow this is it" he messes it up.
Sometimes I wonder if there's someone good enough out there....not trying to sound conceited but the guys so far are not worth 5 minutes of my time!

Define soul-mate. The person who you love to be with? The person you love to make happy? The person you worry about the most? The person who challenges you in way that makes you grow (mentally...)? The person who makes you think of them instead of yourself?
If that's the case, YES!
