Little Britain has been criticised by thousands of viewers who find it abusive towards different backgrounds. Although the creaters of this comedy stresses the importance of how it reflects Britain, clearly it does mush worse. This programme has transformed Britain into a discriminating country, whereby embarrasing truth is revealed. Should Little Britain be off air?

Little Britain is saying what British people think - we take the micky out of ourselves and each other and anyone who finds something wrong with that just doesn't get it. Britain is a discriminating country, but we don't mean any harm though its just our sense of humour. Come on, someone needs to stick up for us - do you remember that episode where it turned out the Prime Minister had been 'having naughties' with the American President? That was funny, and pretty appropiate for what had been going on in the media at the time.
You aren't actually british are you?

Oh get real. The programme is a very off-beat comedy by two very well loved if eccentric commedians. Some people can find fault in anything. Who are they being unkind to? Gays? Matt Lucas is gay: I hardly see him doing anything to offend.
Unmarried young mothers? They are a fact. The disabled? The chap is the wheelchair is clearly not disabled. It is comedy and you either love it or hate it, but there is no hidden agenda!

No. It is free speech unless it condones violence. Comedy should never be censored unless it does this - no matter HOW distasteful the subject. Every joke has its victim, if such things were brought off air then father ted, goodness gracious me and even dad's army would be brought off the air for being offensive to catholics/irish people, british/indians (both or seperately) and old people respectively.

Being a big bird i find the fat busters and Bubbles sketches very funny. What i don't find funny is peoples attitudes to Bubbles' body when she goes naked!

It is supposed to be sarcastic humour. Find me a gay man who does not like "i am the only gay in the village"
Maybe the old lady weeing is a bit close to the mark but my nan found it so funny she ... well she didn't pee herself if that is what you were thinking.

No way.
Part of what makes little britain funny is that we have all come across the types of discrimination it highlights. Little Britain emphasises how ridiculous extreme views are and makes a joke of it.
Its not saying that discrimination is right, its saying its ridiculous.

truth usually is embarrassing. I think you read to much into the power of a comedy show. Alf Garnett was watched by millions and showed how ridiculous a middle aged bigot looked, It made a lot of people rethink their attitudes to race and ethnic background of people.

It`s only for fun! If you cannot take a joke, don`t watch. Like Bernard Manning, he was not all the things people said he was; he did a lot for charity and some of his best friends were Asians and blacks.
Have a look around you, you`ll find the sense of humour you lost, that`s if you ever had one. Misery

Little Britain should not be off air for any of the reasons you have mentioned.
However,it should be off air because its repetitive, immature and not funny in the slightest. The only people who appreciate it are 11 year old kids in the bottom class ,who amuse each other by repeating the catchphrases.
