I will answer your question with the heart Hallambra.
YES. I love Lebanon in an unthinkable way! For it's people... For it's lovely people. I have been to many countries but I have never felt that spirit that lives in Lebanon's air...

Potential Tourists, please don't read this, it's wrong!
Sorry hallambra, but you obviously don't know the Lebanese very well to ask such a quesiton and expect a YES answer :)
People might answer YES,
but their Actions say NO.... NO... NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!
I am Lebanese, and I dare to say that
since the early twentieh century (1900s - ), Lebanese have brought catastrophy to their country, wars, cutting trees, building ugly buildings, building on the sea shore, etc. etc. etc.
We have (had) the best flora/fauna in the world, look now at our polluted sea, dirty roads, deserted mountains, ...
Of course, it's not all because of the Lebanese, but...

More than other people ? Probably not but they are certainly patriotic & proud of their heritage !
In my opinion , countries in many ways are like businesses ....in order to prosper & have harmony within they need positive , strong leadership with vision & goals , a sense of purpose .
Lebanon has the potential to be an outstanding example to the world with its' natural beauty , industrious people , history , culture etc but where is the vision & direction from its' leaders ?
In spite of all of the difficulties this country faces with monotonous regularity , the people still show their willingness to bounce back from adversity time & time again. In my eyes this makes them special , set apart .....this is what warms my heart , feeds my soul , gives me hope .

YES WE DO!!!!!
But not all Lebanese love their Lebanon because if they did they won't make problems and let foreign forces take control of it.
And if they did we wouldn't spark a civil war back in the day.

YES!!!!!
Because we know the true meaning of a real country!
we tasted the meaning of war , downfall, defeat, treason & worst things which could happen to a nation in a time were the world was at peace!
& we rose ! & everytime we fall, we rise because thats us Lebanese!
we learned to appreciate every single good thing which happens to our beautiful country!
those who live in peace & harmony don't know the value of their country!
we live in a thirdworld country & yet we are so proud!
So yes we do love our country more!

what did that American dude once say? ask not what your country can do for you....
that's how we have loved it, for what it gave us.
Patriotic? yes we are - Proud? we are - But did we really love our country? probably not, for all the reasons that Libano listed and many many more.
Our history is plagued with people who sold Lebanon for personal gain - be it monetary or gratification - we have allowed ourselves to become pawns in the hands of the best bidders and to act as means to serve their own purposes without once wondering what exactly is our own purpose out of these alliances.
We have allowed them to divide us and kill each other.
And then we have looked around and said:" that's it, I'm out of here ( exhibit A: moi)."
Do we love our country? I think that we have loved it to death.

Again I find myself obliged to write something negative here so you'll have to excuse me if I sounded rude.
The best analogy would be like parents who have a child not only with special needs, but also at risk of losing his life. Sure they'll put extra attention into this child; perhaps love him more.. I don't know for sure.. that's how I feel.
