The hand is quicker than the eye -- even a third eye. Our senses can be trusted to a point, a third eye is just another thing to interpret the world incorrectly and provide suffering and misery.
Push the two old eyes together and have the third eye cover them. That will reduce the number of illusions and delusions.

I would want it on my forehead. I would mostly want it to see a different world of the view around me, or see people's feelings, wants, and needs.

i'd but it in my stomach, to see how food is digested, and i'd especially put it in my stomach if i was a girl (i'm not) to see how a baby develops, and what a baby does while he/she is in the womb....
