the cord is pluged in and the charging battery light flickers the problem is my batery and cord is only 2 months old

Check the Dell website for any battery recalls. Also, on your battery, there is a little button you can push with five little lead lights to test your battery. If the first, third, and fifth lights blink, I believe your battery is bad. If your battery is only two months old, it should be under warranty - just call Dell - they will send you a new one.

sounds like either the charger or battery or both are defective. At 2 months of age, call the maker for a replacement.

remove and re-fit the battery, could just be a loose connection. If it's only 2 months old, take it back for repair/warranty
