When it becomes compulsory by Law in the U.K for every living person to be tagged. By this I mean implanted with a device that holds data about that person. As we have basically opened our borders to people of a foreign origin that are hell bent on destroying our freedom that we have so far fought for. Terrorists they are called. People who undermine the amazing privilege bestowed upon them by my country. To live in peace and security.

What is it that they require? How can they believe that they are religious people when they kill and maim? If they really believe that they will live in eternity with Allah do they not think that they will be burden with guilt forever? I digress. Back to the question.

It is thought that over 500,000 illegal immigrants are living in the U.K most probably more than that.

Our movements are recorded on camera wherever we go these days.

Do you think it is a good idea for every person to be tagged?

Tagged or profiled? Personally speaking, I've never done anything to warrant worrying about being "found out," but I wouldn't mind it.
I personally think that the Taliban has taken advantage of our relaxed assumption that 'we can all get along' and now we are paying the price. I've heard peaceful Muslims (yeah, there are a few...) decry the fact that they have no intensions of hurting people of other faiths, but that's few and far between. Do we gather them all up and repeat the history of World War II? Do we try and create a grass-roots organization that discussing the differences and how we can deal with them? Or do we simply implant a chip and spy on the population as a whole?
Here, most definetly, there ARE no easy answers...

I'm an American and I don't even like the idea of having a social security number. I avoid giving any personal data to anyone, especially the government. I'm not anti-American at all. I just like to keep a really low profile. The less anyone knows about me the better.

I live in the US, and we have been tagged with Social Security numbers for years! From my pov, they can tag us, mark us, and file us away, but ultimately, it will do no good. It hasn't stopped domestic terrorism, school shootings, horrify acts of random violence, etc. There are simply too many of us to keep up with. On the other hand, it is better than martial law...

Absolutely not
We have given up enough personal freedoms, that we do not need to cede anymore to the state.
