Extremist Islam has been crammed down their throats for 28 years. Attempts to indoctrinate the children in school are failing miserably.

They aren't religious nuts.....A large percentage aren't even Muslim. Most would welcome tactical air strikes on military targets. Though I would NOT recommend any UN or American boots on Iranian soil. They are a proud people and deservedly so.

Douglas they are attempting to do it outside the country as well. Iranians recieve flyers that state a meeting will be held to help restore the monarchy....then knife wielding murderers start stabbing people as the leader picks out the faces he sees fit to kill.

Sweetpea you site discloses those 14 to 64 years of age. That leaves an enormous curve. More than half in your 56% over 30 years of age quote should not be included in the percentage. That leaves 34 years over 30 and doesnt include the children under 14 whom are being raised pro-western. Please review your sites better when using them to oppose another's views. Otherwise your statement is either propaganda or an honest mistake.

I do believed you! I got some knowledge of the Iranian peoples, and they are not really into religions at all, they will not eat pork, but if they really have too (like in case of survival), they will do it, and not care about it too much! Those are mainly trying to survived in their own country, and have no back-up from outside anymore! The illusions that all Iran is bad, is carried by the main stream medias to depict them as barbarians! They are much less barbarians than the Saudi`s this is for sure!! Anyways, like you say, they will not mind airstrikes, but if the US invade Iran, it will be the LARGEST mistakes ever done by the US in its entire history!! You will see what one of the oldest civilizations in the world can do, if they are forced to! The US can really get them by using other tactics but I fear that the military complex of the US, is not willing to let this ''opportunity'' pass!!
And believed me, if you set a foot in Iran, brace yourself for a draft!

You are right, I've hear and read that too. This sets up a big dilemma for Mahmoud Ahmadinejad who is a puppet of the radical religious Mullahs who are running Iran. As they try to keep the a fine balance between going nuclear and having a strict Muslim country, the young people who want more of what the west has to offer are not happy. You can be sure that our CIA is trying to exploit that situation as we speak.

Yes I do, This was also very apparent when in the last elections, Amidenajad's hard line party lost 2/3rds of their political seats due to their stance against America and attempts at Nuclear proliferation. Perhaps the coup has already begun. But you know who holds the real power, the clerics and Ayatolah.
every time I tried posting that, when people are screaming "Bomb Iran!" I get a bunch of thumbs down (lol). Bombing Iran would only serve to turn that 2/3rds against us.

Sure they love American culture, but very few people in the world love America's leaders and even less it's Foreign policy.
They are more aware of the immoral actions of the American political elite than most Americans are, they are on the receiving end.
Out of the 70 Million Iranians, some are more religious than others, as in any country.

Did you count them? Aren't these "young" people intellectually like the ones who once prepared the way for the mullahs? The people harvest what they have sown! Don't wait for a coup d'etat to improve our relations with the country.

confident. The religious government of Iran have possibly banned delivery administration and abortion. while those issues take place the inhabitants grows. while your inhabitants grows, you opt for faculties to coach those toddlers. you opt for jobs for them while they develop up. you opt for a great style of issues while slightly one growth happens. regrettably, Iran would not have sufficient of those issues and their toddlers are bored to death.

The Demographics in Iran in regards to age groups are close to that in the US with 56% below 30.

They have a 15% unemployment rate. While that is deplorable by our standards, it is nothing compared to lets say Kosovo with a 70% unemployment rate.

Whether they love America or not is noy the issue. Their leader building nuclear weapons and targeting them on Europe and Israel is.
