I continously take him to the doctor only for them to repeatly tell me it is an infection. he has been on antibiotics for 3 months with no change. now my 6 month old daughter is getting them any advice I am wondering if I should try a dermatologist or an allergist. anyone every seen these.

I suggest you see a different doctor.. 3 months on anitbiotics is not good. you definitely need to take your kids elsewhere!

Change your laundry soap ... and STOP the antibiotic your son is taking immediately. That antibiotic is actually making your son's skin MORE sensitive to the 'irritants' in your laundry detergent ... which is causing more 'blister/pimples' ... and since your daughter is also getting them now, I'd say it's an 'allergic irritation' and is probably to the laundry detergent. Try using only the 'mildest baby laundry detergent' on ALL of the cloth they 'touch' (yes, even your clothes) and I think the 'blister/pimples' will start to clear up as soon as everything is 'free' of the 'deposits' the laundry detergent you are now using are gone ... 2-3 weeks, at most.

If he has been on antibiotics for 3 months with no change, take him to another doctor. The one you have is apparently not worth a darn. If your daughter is getting them, it is probably not an allergy. I would seriously consider a second opinion.

yes take them to a dermatologist, they may be allergic to sun light, your carpet, etc... because a baby on antibiotic that long is not good for their health, you need to find out exactly what is causing the blisters and infections.

Change doctors immediately. That is too much antibiotics, esp since it is spreading to another child.

Seek help from a dermatoligist immediately.
