Hate, it's all they have. They have no substantive ideas, plans or goals for our country. That takes fortitude to stand up and defend a bill that you submit. But to submit a substantive bill would mean work, actually putting an idea out there then defending it in the polls. Nope, once we are done in Iraq all they will have is hate, it sticks to ther ribs.

The democrats can't afford to have the war to end!! It's filling in a big chunk of their time which they have nothing else to fill it with! They only have 3 things going for them- fighting the war they agreed upon, investigations some 300+ which haven't produced anything and bashing the president. Could this be why their ratings are so low?!

Hmm, gee, let's see, right off the top of my head there are several things that come to mind:
Stopping this stupid, ill-conceived notion that one can fight ideologies and religious beliefs with bullets and bombs.
Restoring habeas corpus.
Rescinding the "Patriot Act".
Provide Universal Health Care.
Making it possible for more people to attend college or trade schools.
Stopping Corporate welfare.
Rebuilding New Orleans
Bringing to justice all these neocons who have elitist attitudes and making sure they pay for their crimes.
Renewing our image in the rest of the world.
And I could go on......so much to do, so much to do.

Dont think when the surge is over that we are leaving, we never left Germany, japan or Korea. That was like what 60 years ago.

as for scandals,the dems don't have to contrive any.

Count on them to reconstruct the healthcare industry, the corrupt judicial system, over-priced police departments and our ailing federal public school systems...
Basically everything they've been promising to "fix" since the 1960's.
