All human life is valuable, heck all life is.
If someone had a chance to save her they should. IF the did not then they should be arrested for failing to save her life. ONLY if she willingly jumped would i say different.
it is a moral right for another human to try and save the life of another life in jeopardy human, animal or whatever so long as it will not cost them their own lives, then it is a choice if you want to take the chance and both die.
IMO.

Why would you let her die? Then you would be known as...you...know...one of those really bad people on the news! I would save her...she seems really nice, you know. People dont give her enough credit. They think she only cares about boys and clothes and shes obnoxious and stupid -- shes really not. so, i think the better thing to do would be to save her life -- then you might get something out of it -- money, PRIDE, lol, there are many rewards for saving paris hilton, i guess.

I like to think everyone has some value but in her case I might have to make a exception. Who cares, she's a no talent, spoiled, selfish, etc...
Somebody said primadonna, boy is that right.
The world is just too pathetic when the "stars" are treated like royalty and are paid outlandish wages. For what? being pretty? handsome, reading a script? the world's gone to hell. Starting pay for teachers where I live is poverty level. People starve worldwide while celebrities hoard millions, even billions of dollars for pretending to be somebody else on screen.
It truly disgusts me. I say push 'em all... while we're at it let's round up the politicians too.
That's the way I feel about it, but in reality, damn I hate to say it but you gotta save her if you can. It's the right thing to do.

Profound? My best guess is it depends on the person(s) having the opportunity to save or not save her.

We don't have to leave this to be about a HIlton.
Anyone who is jumping off a cliff is demonstrating their desire to seek attention and to end their lives. I wouldn't stand in their way, or rescue them. We allow people to die every day and in many ways.
