OK, I'm really tense right now for asking this question. It's better than letting how I feel to a normal stranger than to my own parents. For people who are gonna bash me for this, please understand that I'm only a teenager, confused...

OK you're gonna find this completely off topic for a while but you'd understand what I would be trying to say later. Well, today when I watched Harry Potter for the second time...For those of you have have seen it, you know the kiss that occurred between Harry and Cho? Well, for a second while I was watching it...Without even thinking it, I just imagined myself taking Cho's place. I've never had this thought about anything ever like this in my life. And to tell you the truth...I liked it! I'm sorry if I didn't state this earlier...But...I'm a guy!

I don't know what's going on in my brain right now. Part of me is telling me 'you love him, don't you?' and part of me is saying 'This isn't happening!"

Is this normal!? What's happening to me!?

your not a monster sweetie, it's normal for teenagers to think these things sometimes. it doesn't mean your gay either. it happens, you will probably imagine kissing lots of people through out your life. mostly girls, but sometimes people imagine kissing the same sex too. he is probably someone you enjoy watching on tv and you think he's cool. but your too young to really know what you want out of a life partner. just know your not alone in imagining things like that. don't worry about it, and in a few weeks, it will be someone else you are thinking of. and i don't blame you for not wanting to share that with your parents, sometimes they aren't as understanding about these things when it comes to their child. oh, and i wouldn't tell your guy friends either because kids aren't understanding at all, and even if they have done the very same thing, they will never admit it, and will tease you like crazy.

You are in a process of change rushing through your body this does not mean that you are and will become gay you are just curious at the moment maybe you were thinking of the way the kiss was given and maybe instead of enjoying the kiss from the guy maybe you were wondering how to kiss like the guy but with the girl instead. I think all teenagers at this point goes through a stage like that but, most of them just shrugg it off and move on. Try kissing a girl the way that Harry kissed Cho and see if that could be the reason for the thoughts. This was just a one time thing I hope. No need to come out and tell everyone in the family just yet. They would think that you need a girlfriend or a hobby or something.Do the pros and cons of guys and girls and see which add up the most and go from there.Do you think that you want to be gay or you just like the idea of gayness. Try a hobby or get a girlfriend to get your mind off of it. It is ok to be courious at some point but, don't act on curiousity before you weigh the facts. So don't worry about it and yes this is normal take it one day at a time and hopefully soon you will forget about this whole thing and come to your senses about everything and what is going on with you.

Doesn't mean anything. Don't freak out about this. Don't obsess over this. Just because you have feelings for someone of the same sex doesn't immediately mean your gay. If you've had these feelings for other males - then it just is what it is. You can't help what it is. You can't spend your life, your time worrying about what others are going to think. Life is way too short for this. If you don't think your gay or your just confused why all of a sudden you had that moment of imagination, then understand that sometimes you just feel closer to some than others. This might have been a moment in your life when Harry was exhibiting actions that you admire. Don't sweat this - really. Just keep moving forward and don't let it occupy another moment in your time.

It does not mean you are gay..okay.

You are a teenager and your body is growing adapting to hormones or pheremones, and you will have these episodes, its like girls practicing kissing with one another, don't laugh little girls do that sometimes its not the best of behaviors but it does happen.

Do girls attract you? If they do you don't have a thing to worry about, there is no rush in discovering your sexuality, enjoy being young and having the freedom to explore and get to know yourself and your body before you give it to someone else. Make sure you know yourself, your the only one that will always be around and you have to be able to live with yourself, accept who you are, and love yourself before you can love anyone else. Hope this helps and don't overthing everything, your ok. Your unique in the way you think speak act everything your smile everythin is yours, make the most of what you have, accentuate your good points, recognize your weak areas of behaviour and work hard at correcting them. This is how you get to know yourself, by recognizing what you are good at and acknowledging that you cannot do everything perfectly, but there are some things you excel at. Just a normal teenage boy if you ask me.

As a teenager, you body and mind is constantly changing. Many things during your teenage years you will not understand. They're also full of curiosity. So this just might as well be curiosity and nothing else. Don't worry about this for a long time unless you see that this has become long term and you imagine youself with other guys often. Hope this helps =)!!
