good is a word. bad is a word. nothing more, nothing less. they are abstract formulations designed to enable different personalities to communicate. Good is a lack of bad. bad is a lack of good. So neither really means anything. They are simply words that evoke an emotional response which enables empathy between two people. My concept of good might be something completely different from yours, but the word enables the two to become the same.

If my purple is your red and I say red, then you think of what I would call purple, but it doesn't matter because to you its still red, and I will never know the difference. The comparison is taken away and the word means anything.

Nothing can be permanently 100% good becuase you couldn't define it...definition needs a standard of comparison.

I would like to say life, Because of that first cup of coffee in the morning, That beautiful sunset, The smell of springtime, The feel of a lovers touch, An icecream sunday and the sound and sight of children playing. But life is not permanent. So it must be the force at the basis of life.
CONTINUE is alway good and never to end.
John.

I think if it was made to be good there is a chance someone will screw it up and make it not so good, but the only thing i can think that is good and stays good is happpiness, and joy, and the way laughter makes you feel, and how when nothing else in your life is going rightt and that one person is always there no matter what, and it doesnt have to be yur gfor bf.

good and bad are like 2 sides of a spectrum. Like north and south. So lets use an analagy to the world to everything else. The world has variants of north and south (lines of latitude) just as everything has varients of good and bad. So saying a place in the world is north, it is higher up on the latitude lines, just like we say something is good, it is higher up on a spectrum of bad->neutral-> good. but it's all the same thing, The place is just a place on earth which is the totality of both north and south. Just like an action is just a part of everything. So good and bad is pretty much just reference points, like north and south. And God can not be Lord of All, and hence denying is omnipotency, if he was all good and incapable of evil.

Yes, the natural Earth. (i.e. nature, natural resources, soil) Well, perhaps semi-permanently good until it unleashes storms but the damage done is really no fault of nature, it is humans for being in the path.

man created the concept of 'good' and 'bad' around day and night. the day was "good" because of the sun; it illuminated the world, it fed crops, etc. and the night took all of that away. this eventually evolved into our present ideas.

but good and bad don't actually exist, it's a man made concept.

"Good" changes from person to person. A saint would look at you as good in a very different way than a cannibal would.

Good is only good to the receiver. At the time it is - good is what makes it good, not before and not farther away.
