Yes. They love each other - they just don't hear each other.
Adam can't hear JR is truly sorry for the kidnapping ploy. All he hears is that JR betrayed him.
JR can't hear just how much Adam loves him. All he hears is how much of a disappointment he is.
It'll take some time, but they're Chandlers thru and thru.

These two have been through hell and back. Some brought on by themselves, but some not. One problem that these two have is that they are just alike. Which is not always a bad thing. They both have undeniable bonds when is comes to family. I am 38 years old. My parents have told me that there is nothing I can do to ever make them stop loving me. Adam and JR will get throught it for one simple reason. No matter what, they love each other.

I think they are normal for them. they have a love hate thing going on. Love because they are family but hate because of the greed for money. Yea they will be father and son again but not for long.

Of course - it's a soap opera. All will get better and then it will get worse again.
