Emancipation requirements do vary somewhat by state, but it’s RARELY granted in any state.

You have to petition the court. At a minimum, you’d have to prove:

(1) that emancipation is in your best interest. So you have to have a valid reason for it. Reasons such as not liking your parents rules, wanting more freedom, etc are NOT valid reasons.

(2) that you have a job and that you earn enough to fully support yourself, which means paying for rent, utilities, food, medical expenses, etc. **completely on your own** And the court will want to see that you can do this while remaining in school.

The court can require other things as well. And they can deny emancipation for any reason that they see fit, including, but not limited to, their belief that the minor lacks the maturity to function as an adult.

You need to talk to a local attorney, because each state has different requirements. Where I am, you must be 18, it makes you as though you are 21, and both parents have to agree and sign off on it. But in some places you can be 16 or 17, but you have to show you are able to support yourself completely. Each state's laws on this vary too much, again, you need an attorney licensed in your state to tell you.

Want to become emancipated and make the first huge mistake of your life? Unless you are being abused in some manner, just deal with the rules at home. If you aren't mature enough to know what you need to do, you probably aren't ready to be emancipated.

Ahhhh another one that can't wait to strike out into this cold cruel world, my advice, put up with your parents rules because that's what you hate, and when your 18, your free to let life slap you right in the kisser.

I'm know you have to be atleast 16. I don't really know. You'll have to ask a profesional like a cop. I'm sure somebody will help you. Your parents have to allow you though. Just to let you know.
