OH YES
In fact you should try to do some exercises during and even before it starts. If you get pains during your period then this will definately help you. I had a lot of pain and discomfort but i found that doing a few crunches and drinking a lot of water during the period is EXCELLENT to make it shorter and less painful.
Our period is a normal part of our lives as women:)
If we can make it a healthy time for us then we should give it our best shot ok hun

All the best

well, obviously, someone has put a doubt in ur mind...No, there are no side-effects of walking during ur periods..However the amount of walking or exercise may vary based on ur level of threshold. If u feel tired & down in between , take some rest & move about ur usual routine as u would otherwise.

Yes, it's safe to walk during your period. But i'd suggest if your going to be doing sports get Tampax Sport and make sure you have the right abosorbency. =) They have 360 degree coverage...I use them! You should be able to do all your normal excercises on your period also.

No, you must get plenty of bed rest and sigh a lot....a few fainting spells would be a nice touch as well....

However, if you are not a member of a Royal Family or if your father's net worth is less than one billion dollars, you may want to consider behaving in a normal fashion as people have been for centuries on end...LOL

Yes. It is safe to do anything when you are on your period. All myths and taboos are fake. However, if you wish to go swimming, you should use a tampon. (A pad will just soak up water.) It is best to change your tampon before and after you go swimming.

It's okay to do your normal activities, in fact, it's encouraged because it releases dopamine, which helps with mood swings and cramps.
