If someone goes through most of their lives with very good luck, it means they've skated along, slipped through cracks, gotten away with things they should have been called out on. Too much good luck can result in a cocky attitude, or a feeling of immortality, superhumanity, and a loss of good character. A person who's enjoyed too much good luck may wind up taking unnecessary chances, may become wreckless. In sum, too much good luck can do a person's character and choice making ability harm.
And, I do believe in luck, I do believe some people are "luckier" than others, and contrary to the above answer, gamblers also believe in luck, they base their bets on it.

Basically there is no such thing as luck, good or bad.
Often when people get a glimpse of this fact they become gamblers, diehard ones who ignore all advice. They then may forget that they had that glimpse at the truth of the law of attraction. Unfortunately a mere glimpse is far from enough. Study and verification is necessary. There are however people who have the pieces of the puzzle in good order and then believe that they are possessors of good or bad luck. In a way one could say that they were ^lucky^ to have this predisposition, but saying it doesn`t make it so. There is another explanation for this, but that is another story, too long to go into now. Cheers!

Luck can be seem in many lights. Luck as a lack of control, that which happens outside of a persons control. Or luck as probability. And luck as a supernatural belief. Then there is is
luck as a false idea. there are a great many books and articles on this very subject. if you are looking for Biblical references look in Isaiah 65 or Proverbs 16 or Ecclesiastes 9. No I dont think it is the greatest of human affictions.

Depending on the severity of the luck or bad luck and whether or not it effected me. I always thought a bad bout of priapism on a visit to the playboy mansion would be the greatest human affliction.

Good luck will always be bad luck to a pessimist. For the rest of us there is always something good in everything bad that happens.

I know of a family that won a few millions a few years back, and cant say they are happy, everyone wanted a piece of the pie, one of the kids is on drugs, so the good luck they had in having their life set, got them in to more trouble, than they already had.

YEah i guess if you were able to get all the things that others dreamed of but to you it is living in hell. Of course you can only turn bad through being fortunate if you cant see how wonderful it is to be in that situation. If you have all and you are uncomfortable with it that is truely not your fault or anyone elses dont through it away cause you feel sorry for someone. They might take it from you and leave you all alone. Nothing to gain.
