I think that Carly's character and her script right now is to make us ask these questions..... I ADORE Laura Wright and think she is fantastic in this part - I would love to meet her at a fan event (unless that is just too cheesy...) what do you guys think??

Carly obsesses over Jason and is possessive of Jason. The only female she ever approved of was Courtney, Sonny's sister.......and that was because she was Sonny's sister and Carly and Courtney were friends. Courtney also pretty much let Carly run the show.
Since Courtney's death, Carly is into and all over Jason. I agree with some of the answers above, she lusts after Jason and always has. Those scenes with her and Jason in the boiler room were wild....she was ready to jump his bones if they hadn't gotten rescued. I'd say she's always loved him and is jealous of any female he pays any attention to. She thinks Jason tells her everything and she always knows what's best for him, wait till she finds out about Baby Jake !!!!
I can't wait to see what happens when she finds out he kept this huge secret from her. Port Chuckles will never be the same !!!!!

I don't think that Carly is still in love with Jason. Carly is like that with a lot of people. I just think that Carly is a good friend and wants to help. Even if sometimes she ends up making a BIG mess of things. I think that Carly is love with Jax and even though she won't admit it she's still in love with Sonny.

I think Carly is in love with Jason but not the way she is in love with Sonny. At times Carly can be intrusive. She has no right to just walk into Jason's apartment all the time without warning.

I think Carly is possessive over Jason because of the love she had for him in the past. I think the love she had for him evolved into what it is now - a deep and powerful bond between friends. Think about, he saved her son, he saved her, and he has spent his whole life (as Jason Morgan) protecting her and her family. Of course she loves him, I just don't think it's a romantic kind of love...ALTHOUGH, that doesn't mean she doesn't lust after him...did you see her freak out in the steam room? In her defense, he was HOT!!!
P.S. Laura Wright is doing an EXCELLENT job as Carly!!!

Yes she is to involved in Jason's life at times. She acts as tho she owns him and no other woman can have him. She only let Courtney because she was Sonny's sister but before she knew that she hated her too.
