I think the bears have a shot to make it back to Superbowl but the saints will push them

Sure, if they got a good travel agent. I think the near give away trade of Thomas Jones is going to be a severe impact. They did not even try to improve the quarterback position. I don't mind if he throws an interception or two, but it is really hard to win if he fumbles from the snap. "Grossman, please hold on to the f**kin thing"! Briggs and Urlacher have greatly enhanced each other and will both lose something if separated. 7mil for one year is not an insult. I think they will do well in a division that has not improved, but they were fortunate to have made the Super Bowl. I don't see them going past the 2nd round in the playoffs, I hope I am wrong.

the real question is, could they get to the superbowl again, even with lance briggs and tank johnson

I think they could. The defense will still be good enough, it may not be as good as last year, but if they can get solid play at QB (which most likely won't happen), they can definitely get to the Super Bowl.

Not too many other NFC teams to really push em. If Mcnabb is healthy, then i think it's the eagles hands down, but other than that, nobody for now.

I would say no, and not necessarily due to the 2 reasons you cited.
