I don't know who told you that, but they were wrong. It is just as bad for a woman to have an affair as it is for a man to have an affair. Cheating is wrong, no matter who does it.

everything has always been that way for some reason. Look at history, A male teacher molests a student he gets jail time, a female teacher gets a slap on the wrists., a mother gets help to collect child support for free, the father has to hire an attorney to get visitation. a man kills someone and gets the death penalty, a woman kills someone and just gets very little time in jail. A man has an affair and he is deemed the worlds worst man, a woman has an affair & it is deemed as lack of attention from her mate! It sucks! Until men & women are treated equally in every aspect, it will continue to go on this way.

I don't believe that! I believe that a woman having and affair is just as guilty as a man having an affair. It's wrong regardless, if it's a man or a woman. It doesn't matter!

in some countries its bad for a woman to have an affair to for example in many countries of the third world woman are killed for having an affair.

the only aspect of this that kind of rings true is that women rally and support around another women who is cheating
they see it as payback for all the hurt they ( the group ) has had from cheating husbands and boyfriends, and so they will support a "sister" cheating
this is the difference between men and women
men generally do not care if another guy is cheating as men really do not care about another guys sex life
there is not that common bond among men
shared social experience ( what ever the activity outside of sex ) are the bonds that bind men , women on the other hand are competitive and thus when they loose they love to spread the misery and hurt, so when they cheat cathartically they love for other to cheat along with them. This makes women shallow in that respect with respect to cheating, as a cheating man is shallow on his own accord, a cheating women has her group of girls who all go to the same depth to be her friend. This is why women have a harder time bonding then men, to base a relationship of cheating and lying is a shallow at best and often leads to cat fights among the women.

it's wrong for anyone to have an affair, no matter what their gender. I think it is just more common for a man to have an affair, so we view them as worse
