is it me or does LL Cool J's Mama said knock you out incredible simple to the point of of kind of sucking? I mean, I love the production and the way LL goes at the song, but it just doesn't seem that great lyrically..
Also, does the games one blood remind anyone else of early 90's style Ice Cube?

ll had earn his stripes by the time of momma said knock u out, so he kinda gets a pass for the lyrics or lack there of. With that being said... those lyrics are still better than 90% of what u hear on the radio today. Even though he really doesn't sale alot anymore, I'd take L over just about any rapper in the game right now or ever. As far as Game, I never really noticed that he sounds like Cube, but it isn't that much of a stretch though. He grew up on N.W.A. so I'm sure that Cube had so influence on his style.

To me, in that song he didn't really rap, but kind of sang with a battle rap attitude. No, lyrically it's not good at all, but you kind of felt him through his delivery.
