handwashing if u rinse every dish with the faucet running now if u rinse the dishes with the other sink full of water then no handwashing would take up less water then a dishwasher would take up more water.

hand washing if you have a lot of dishes. run it at night and it will cost you less. if you only have a few dishes then hand wash them it will use less water
