2nd childs blood type is AB
What is the blood type of the mother?

The mother is type A or type B. She obviously has a gene for Type O since she has one child that is Type O. The second Child has both the A and B allele. One is from the father, and one from the mother. You'd have to know the father's bloodtype to be sure which is which. So, the mother would either be Iai or Ibi.

The mother would either be A blood (only genotype AO) or B blood (BO). That is the only way that could be possible because the father would have to have AO or BO too.
