Thank you first off for the welll wishes for the day..
But that is easier said than done..
i have done something in the not so long ago past... and my ex who is my current boyfriend... (long story) is having a hard time dealing with it... and i dont' blame him.. no one beats themself up more than me.. (again, long story)..
that would be nice if the past could stay in the past, whether it be one day or one year!!!

no no nooooooooo.
part of what makes MY future different from anyone else's is that i have a unique knowledge of myself, that no one esle ever will. i know my tendencies, strengths, weaknesses, interests, and experiecnse.
if these are forgotten, i'm a slate wiped clean with no past. how to start a future from scratch? you cannot, even under the witness protection program you have memories, knowledge, personality, feelings you've garnered from your 'previous' life.
there's a reason we're born so small dependent, and impressionable, soaking up everything. the 'past' we accumulate during those early years, all the way up to yesterday, dictates the choices we will make about our 'future' from today forward.
my past is a PART of my future.

So true. Dwelling on the past is a waste of emotion. WTH... nothing is going to change, so just shift gears and move forward.

There is some truth in that but what happens if the individual is insecure and keeps raking his/her past just to anger the other party?
Hmm, I don't quite get my answer, but uhm, yeah. That's my two cents worth. :)
