Yes, they should be checked. Sometimes there is a remnant of tissue left in the uterus, and that remnant can cause bleeding and infection if left in place.

Yes it's a good idea to go to the doctor some times the woman will need a DNC, I was 11 weeks pregnant and I had a Miscarriage, and needed a DNC it removes the dead baby etc... As you can get very sick.
Even if it's very early in the pregnancy most of the time it comes away by it's self but some woman also so need an Anti D…

It's a really good idea to go to the gyn after a miscarriage because of several reasons. One, to make sure that there isn't any tissue that has remained in the uterus. If there is, they will do a DNC to remove the tissue so you don't get an infection. Secondly, they may be able to determine the cause of the miscarriage if it were a genetic problem.

Yes, they need to be checked out by a doctor. Sometimes they have to do a DNC procedure to clean out the area. It is very important that a woman be properly checked out after a miscarriage. Infection could occur and she certainly wouldn't want that to happen.

Yes you should, but it isn't required because if you have a miscarriage the baby, since there is really in nothing in your uterus, the fluids will come out when you go to the bathroom. but you should still go to the doctor to make sure there is nothing left inside of you
